Editing Discion List: Micro Life in a Day
The idea and narrative of this edit will be following four people’s lives in a day showing different activities. Paul Grimley working as a taxi driver and as free time, Keilan Braithwaite talking to the camera and going out to meet up with his band, Josh Coleman having a relax and lazy day by staying in. Keifer Hutchinson, I can’t do a narrative as he didn’t film much and some of his shots do not make any sense. However I can use some of his shots for example Opening the blinds start of the day, switching the light off end of the day and putting on his shoes to go out. I’m going to start it off by people waking up, having breakfast, going out, working and showing free time, staying in, and finish off by the end of the day, Josh playing on his Xbox, Keilan saying the end of the day (midnight) Paul asleep on the chair and Keifer turning off the light.
Waking up:
Shot 1: Paul’s Day - Alarm Clock – sound of getting up.
Shot 2: Josh’s Day – Pulling the switch of the bathroom.
Shot 3: Josh’s Day – bathroom lights comes on – meaning start of the day.
Shot 4: Keifer’s Day – Pulling up the blinds of the window – waking up.
Shot 5: Paul’s Day – Paul sleeping on the chair – still asleep and tired from work.
Shot 6: Keilan’s Day – Keilan talking to the camera – Talking about the start of his day.
Breakfast:
Shot 7: Paul’s Day – Getting breakfast from Mc Donald’s in his taxi.
Shot 8: Josh’s Day – Getting a mug from the cupboard.
Shot 9: Josh’s Day – Putting coffee powder in the mug.
Shot 10: Josh’s Day – Putting hot water in the mug.
Shot 11: Josh’s Day – Doing his breakfast by putting coco pops in his bowl.
Shot 12: Paul’s Day – Eating his Mc Donald’s breakfast.

Washing:

Getting ready and going out:

Shot 37: Josh's Day - (Over the Shoulder Shot) TV screen of the game.
Shot 38: Keilan's Day - Talking to the camera, summing up the day and saying it's near midnight (end of the day).
Shot 39: Paul's Day - Sleeping on the chair and waking up and looks at the camera, which he laughs - Showing he is tired and time for bed.
Shot 40: Keifer's Day - Last shot of the video is when Keifer turns off the light of his bedroom meaning end of the day.
